Casablanca (1942) is a romantic drama directed by Michael Curtiz, starring Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman and Paul Henreid. Set during World War II in the Moroccan city of Casablanca, the film follows Rick, a nightclub owner, who must choose between his love for Ilsa and helping her Resistance-hero husband escape the Nazis. Winner of three Oscars, including Best Picture, it is widely considered one of the greatest films of all time.
